Yokohama!!

This weekend, I went to Yokohama, which is located in Kangawa Prefecture, just south of Tokyo Prefecture. Because it is a port city, there used to be lots of Americans living there. Today, it is famous for Chinatown, Cosmo World (with a HUGE ferris wheel), cup noodles museum, ramen museum, Red Brickhouses, Landmark Tower, and much much much more!!

Train only for women during peak hours

Women only train!

It was a good an hour and a half train trip from where I live. We got out at Minatomirai Station, which is also a famous district that sells lots of goods! The first place out of the station was a huge shopping mall called Queen's Square. Straight across from it is the Landmark Tower Shopping Mall, which once again was so big! It had many many varieties of shops, including POKEMON CENTER, a cute little Ghibli store, and a Shonen Jump store (sells lots of authentic anime/manga collections.
Longest elevator I have ever been in.
