ICU Festival

Every university in Japan has its own college festival, which is basically a big event in which student clubs perform for their parents, friends, neighbors and/or sell food to raise money! Every club has really put in a lot of effort to make this festival possible. Let's enjoy what they did through these pictures and videos !!

Worship Night Performing

Food stands!

Each room in the main university building, Honkan, was also transformed into little cafes or game rooms for children!

Taiko performance. Sorry! I wasn't allowed to take videos
of their performance, but they were great!!

Hashimaki: Hashi = chopsticks.
It was like a pancake wrapped around a pair of
chopsticks and you just eat off the chopsticks lol.

Photo galore by the photography club!

Yes, there needs to be 5 different trash cans to separate out
trash! From left to right: combustibles, wooden chopsticks,
noncombustibles, cans, and the lady is blocking the last trash can..

Just eating and chilling on the grass :)

A look at the festival from afar!

A look from the festival upclose!

The aviation club provided airplane models for people to sit in !

The ICU stage - where all the performances are held

Some performances by Smooth Steppers - the hip-hop dance crew at ICU! They're really good! I hope my videos aren't laggy...

There was also a FREE KIMONO service for foreign exchange students!! hehe. Even the back of the kimonos were so elaborate, each with different designs!

Free kimono-dressing for an hour! They wrap so many layers around you that it's quite hard to walk around in... but it was fun!!

More food:

Rilakkuma!!
anime cafe!!

Now, performances from Clumsy Chorus - a gospel choir that I joined!
This one is called "Follow you"

This one is called "Everything to Me"

And the last one: "Oh Happy Day"

Enjoy ~~~~~~
